While at home: an Italian feast
I’ve swooned already over the joys of being home, but it somehow never gets old. After all, home is home: a place where the fridge is never empty and feasts are daily. At least that’s the way it is with my (crazy) family.
With a family comprised of food-lovers (our Labrador included), inspiration for our meals practically spills out of our ears. Yes, sometimes we even argue over what should be for dinner. It’s a very heated kitchen.
Tonight, my mom got quite inspired by this month’s Bon Appétit, and their Italian dishes: White Bean Ragout with Toast and Ligurian Pesto with Spaghetti. There were no arguments there, only the sounds of bread crunching and pasta-slurping.
Our Italian feast was bright, warm, and well… homey. Perfect.
Mille Grazie, Bon Appétit!
